For estimating assignments

Choose how far pricing development should go.

The selected service and estimate detail both affect the effort and fee. Machine-control models have their own, separately priced scope and do not require an estimate level.

01Base effort

Quantity Takeoff Only

Organized quantities and review documentation. The customer applies its own labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, overhead, profit, and risk inputs.

02Higher effort

Customer-Priced Cost Estimate

Quantities plus labor, material, equipment, or subcontractor pricing supplied by the customer. Horizon organizes the agreed inputs but does not procure pricing or assume customer costs.

03Highest effort

Vendor-Informed Cost Estimate

Quantities plus review and incorporation of current vendor, subcontractor, material, or equipment pricing supplied by the customer.

Scope and fee

The standard consulting rate is $100 per hour, with a $600 minimum engagement fee. The final project price is stated in the proposal. The engagement fee serves as a down payment and is credited toward that price; it is not an added charge. It is refundable if the project is canceled before work begins and nonrefundable once work has begun. The remaining balance is due before the final deliverable is released.

Your next step

Email the service and timing you need. Do not attach plans; document transfer is agreed separately. Scope, availability, fee, and delivery timing are confirmed before work begins.
