Related estimating support
Office preparation. Field calibration by your team.
Models are prepared using Topcon 3D Office and supplied as Topcon-compatible .tp3 files. Only proposed-grade surfaces are included. CAD files and identified coordinate-system information are requested; customer-provided control points can be entered into the file.
The contractor or surveyor verifies the control and performs onsite localization, calibration, machine setup, and field checks. Compatibility and agreed features are confirmed during review. Horizon does not claim formal Topcon certification or affiliation.
Know the scope and fee before work begins.
The proposal defines documents, inclusions, deliverables, schedule, and final project price. The standard rate is $100 per hour with a $600 minimum engagement fee. The fee is credited to the project price, refundable before work begins, and nonrefundable after work begins. The remaining balance is due before final deliverables are released.
New plans, expanded scope, changed deliverables, or accelerated deadlines may require a revised proposal. One review is included when Horizon prepares the estimate; revisions, expanded or second reviews, and review of estimates prepared by others are additional work. Machine-control models are separately scoped and priced.
